whipping cream
260 mL
M&S strawberry sauce
1 dash
pink food colouring
150 g
raspberries
500 mL
M&S Madagascan vanilla custard
to taste

Method

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Arrange six slices of sponge roll (1) in a deep round trifle bowl, setting aside the other six.
Step 2
Whip part of the whipping cream (450 mL) until stiff peaks have formed. Fold in some of the M&S strawberry sauce (150 mL) and the pink food colouring (1 dash) . Lightly crush the raspberries (150 g) with a fork, then fold these through.
Step 3
Spoon your mousse into the trifle bowl and smooth until even. Top with the remaining sponge roll.
Step 4
Whisk together M&S Madagascan vanilla custard (500 mL) , M&S strawberry sauce (100 mL) and a few drops of pink food colouring, then spoon into the trifle bowl, smoothing on top.
Step 5
Whisk the remaining whipping cream (450 mL) until soft peaks have formed. Spoon over the custard, using a spatula to create soft peaks.
Step 6
Finish with a drizzle of M&S strawberry sauce (10 mL) , Percy Pig sweets (to taste) and jazzie sprinkles (to taste) .
