Absolute Pants - not in a good way at all. Material thinner than my old ones which I’m now keeping. No elastic in legs so feel really loose. Shape up M&S and please reinstate the original style

So disappointing... In comparison with -- ostensibly -- the same product bought a couple of years ago: The sizing (and perhaps the cut) has changed. Old size 14 is a comfortable fit -- new size 14 is so loose around the waist that the knickers.actually slip down when I walk about. The fabric is noticeably thinner. The old version has plain elastic round the waist -- the new version has the more scratchy lacy kind. So disappointed...

I bought the high rise shorts online and loved them. They had elastic round the legs and properly covered my bum & stayed in place all day with minimal VPL. I went into the shop to buy more and unfortunately I picked up the LOW rise ones by mistake. Same packaging colour, same picture, same price. My fault, but maybe different styles should have different packaging. THESE ARE AWFUL. I only realised something was wrong when I got dressed this morning. No elastic around the legs and they do not cover my cheeks, they're halfway up. In a rush I went to work and I've been distracted by my wedgie all day. No elastic on the legs means they bunch up under clothing & feel baggy and unsupportive. They're also feel like thinner, less soft, poorer quality fabric than the other ones. I'm genuinely blown away by how rubbish these are. Gutted I didn't notice before I opened the pack and chucked them in the wash.

These are super comfy knickers, but why did M&S feel the need to put a wee frilly bit round the top ??? They were fine without it. They wash and tumble dry perfectly. I have to buy these online as my local shop only carries a few lines in underwear. This is a pain as I’d like to support my local store. Hence the 4 star rating 😊

These were my go-to as good qualitiy everyday underwear for almost 15 years, but I won't be buying them again. The last set I bought I had to resew the seams on 2 of them. The fabric was also thinner and is wearing out noticeably quicker. Really not impressed.
