Linen Rich Square Neck Midaxi Dress

I loved this dress. After sizing down I found the strap issue (too long) was cured. Also it brought the arm openings up making it less ‘naked’ Yes it’s low at the back but it’s for my holiday and I felt I could get away with it. Luckily I’d bought a navy bandeau to wear with something else and that works instead of a bra. I love that it has pockets, the material is a good weight.i feel great in it. I think it’s got some very harsh reviews unnecessary . I bought the red. I love red. The regular was the perfect length on me at 5’4”. Wonderful holiday dress. I have 4 for fit because you do have to experiment to find the size that works for you.

Arrived bundled into bag and very creased. Looked like a sack and size ordered bore no relation to this dress size. Returned.

I am 5ft 10 in tall, normally take size 12 but ordered 10 after reading the reviews. It is still much too big, could easily go down to an 8 and it would still be big. The colour is lovely, please M&S offer more clothes in summer colours, not black. The square neckline and wide straps are flattering, the dress has pockets and the material is soft and comfortable. Most importantly for tall ladies the straps are adjustable. There seems to be the assumption that tall women don’t have longer bodies to match their longer legs, we don’t all have the proportions of the models! Sadly this dress is too baggy for me so it still isn’t suitable and will join a long list of returns this summer.

Lovely linen dress just what I was looking for with pockets being a bonus. The straps are really long, I'm hoping to try the petite version to see if it's any better. The dress is really large, I'm normally an 18 but I tried the 16 and 14 and both fitted exactly the same.

No idea who this would suit. Sags under the arms and has so much fabric. Very unflattering

This dress is not knee length, but midi and a long midi at that! Description says knee length. I ordered both colours, black and red and both are midi. So disappointed, I made a special trip to collect order and now got to make another trip to return. At the time of writing there is only one image of the dress online (not on a model) and no reviews. Don't want any other customers to waste their time if looking for a knee length dress.

This is far too long for a short - almost ankle length on me at 5ft 1" - and the long straps at the back - which are not shown in the photo on the website - add nothing to the baggy style. Not one for me!
