Wide Brim Bucket Hat with Linen

Good summer hat with a decent wide brim to shade your face. Packs well after being squashed in a suitcase bounces back into shape. I would of preferred just a cream colour but otherwise no complaints

Bought this as a birthday present for a lady who is a keen gardener but doesn’t like the heat or too much sun, and it seemed to be very well received. Personally I liked the shape (quite cool) but not the faint shadow pattern on the beige fabric (old lady).

I got this in a m/l size and it actually fits on my 60 cm head. It is also deep enough for my head. I always have problems finding hats that are big enough for my head, so it is great to find something that fits. I need a hat to protect a skin graft on my nose and I hope that the brim on this is wide enough for this. From looking in the mirror it seems that at least the nose should be protected. I am not so sure about the chin being in the shade though. The brim isn't so wide that there is a problem with wearing a coat with a hood at the same time (which is not possible with another wide brim hat I have). You can also fold this hat up. I think I will have to iron the brim, as it is a bit crinkled. I hope ironing it will fix this. A label on the hat also states that this is equivalent to a sun protection of SPF 50.
